The 2.5 hour narrated cruise takes place on the Paddlewheeler Creole Queen, a 190’x40’ paddle wheeler, from which passengers disembark at the site of the 1815 Battle of New Orleans to tour the Chalmette Battlefield and Monument. A cash bar and full creole buffet are available on the boat. Cruises are held twice and are two hours long. Boarding occurs between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. for the morning cruise and 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. for the afternoon cruise. Tickets are regularly $13 for children ages 6–12 and free for younger children.
