To celebrate National Donut Day,
Winn-Dixie is putting a sweet spin on a sugary holiday by offering
guests a free jumbo donut hole in the in-store bakery (limit one per
guest, per store visit, while supplies last). Guests can choose from
cake, powdered or cinnamon flavors!
WHEN:
Friday, June 6 during regular store hours
WHERE: The in-store bakery of all Winn-Dixie stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi.
WHY:
To celebrate a 76-year tradition started in Chicago by the Salvation Army in 1938 to raise funds during the Great Depression.

fresh donuts to American soldiers (nicknamed “doughboys”) during World
War I.
