After a successful first year, the Junior League of New Orleans (JLNO) is once again presenting Touch a Truck, a unique, one-day experience that gives families an up-close look at their favorite “big trucks!

Touch a Truck displays may include construction trucks, emergency responder vehicles, tractors, and utility trucks. The special chance to touch a variety of vehicles, sit in the driver’s seat of a bulldozer, or climb aboard a fire engine creates lasting memories for children and their families.

My kids and I went to the 1st annual Touch a Truck event last year and we really enjoyed it! They got to climb in and out of many vehicles - watch a helicopter take off right in front of us - and they even got to honk the horn on a big truck!

Ticket prices:

Family Pack of 5 Tickets = $30.00 any time

Individual Ticket = $8.00 pre-sale

Individual Ticket = $10.00 day of event

Children under the age of 1 attend the event for free.
Note: If you wish to have tickets mailed to you an additional charge is applied - Otherwise, you can pick up from Jr. League in advance OR at will call the day of the event!

For a GREAT CAUSE!
Proceeds from Touch a Truck directly benefit JLNO’s nine community projects that serve the at-risk population of Metropolitan New Orleans through charter school support, nutritional programming, youth development, and activities for the elderly.

NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, the event will be May 10, 2014.
